First Shitlog Games Committee Session: Brasilia Eliminated March 10, 2017
After
the Shitlog Games Committee (SGC) met for the first time today, their
final rulings left Brasilia without the opportunity to be the host city
for the games. This leaves only six cities:
1. Atlanta, Georgia, USA
2. London, United Kingdom
3. Cairo, Egypt
4. Havanna, Cuba
5. Bern, Switzerland
6. Yokohama, Japan
in
the race for the chance to host the first ever Summer Shitlog Games.
After being given the hard news, Brasilia for 2017 Committee Chairman
Hugo Almada told the press:
"We
are saddened that the BVB Army would drop their interest. Brasilia is a
more than capable place to host the games and we will definitely not
forget this day."
The
Committee, besides eliminating Brasilia's candidacy also mandated the
deadline for the games to not exceed August 28th, so regardless of when
this summer they will be, they must not go past that date.
The next SGC meeting will be held on March 12, in just two days.
